Socionics for business
In highly competitive industries businesses are constantly looking for new ways to increase their value and productivity. Therefore, more and more entrepreneurs are looking for new ways to improve their business. Of course, this only applies to companies with a long-term strategy for staying in the market. According to socionics, people are divided into certain types that determine their behavior, reactions to certain situations, preferences, tastes, outlook, aptitudes and success of a person in different types of activity. Types are distinguished depending on the predominance of logic, ethics, intuition or sensorics in a person. Specialists in socionics deny that a person can be talented in everything. As a rule, each of us has strengths and preferred occupations. Knowing about your inclinations and abilities, you can be much more successful in life, be happier and more harmonious, achieve creative and professional self-realization. Any business that has people in it can use socionics for its own purposes. Now this direction is gaining popularity, many companies conduct appropriate testing of their employees to understand whether a person is in his place. For example, if a person is a logician, he or she will be best at analytical work, working with figures and graphs, but not working with people.
Socionics plays a career guidance role for a person. And for a company, it gives an opportunity to realize and understand many structural processes, to identify the causes of problems, to reconfigure and adjust the system so that these problems do not arise. Knowledge about the peculiarities of subordinates can be very useful for managers at all levels. And, importantly, this approach helps to change the situation for the better not only for the business, but also for the employees themselves. In addition, thanks to understanding the capabilities of each person, it is possible to form an effective team of complementary people, where everyone has some “superpower” necessary for overall success. Surely many people have encountered situations when you meet a person and you “light each other up”, the work is booming, ideas are generated, productivity is off the charts. And sometimes it happens the other way around - when there is absolutely no mutual understanding with a colleague. You seem to like the job, but it is very difficult to work because of the constant clashes.

In my understanding, socionics is a kind of “self-discovery” tool for a company, which helps to bring about qualitative changes in business at a deeper level than, for example, traditional team building, the effect of which is often very short-term.
This year, followed by the recommendation of our partners, we sent key employees for training on this topic. And now we are implementing the knowledge gained into our work. In general, this concept has always been close to us, but we have found something to supplement and expand our understanding of all processes. We believe that there are no universal managers, let alone “universal soldiers”. A company is a team in which it is important to treat every person with attention and understanding, regardless of their position. For me, this training gave me, first of all, an understanding of why people, including members of our team, behave in this or that way. And knowing the reasons for behavior makes it possible to respond to it correctly.
Socionics is based on the idea that we develop in our company: every person should be in his or her place. And we are glad that more and more organizations of all levels are also coming to this idea and using methods that help people in the company to grow and improve the quality of their lives. At JML, we believe that the business of the future uses only such methods.
